The Green Bay Packers was excited to see a potential quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, but they were also sorry to see wide receiver Greg Jennings injured as early as in the first quarter.
The injury came on a game-opening touchdown drive for the Packers. Jennings was sandwiched by the Cardinals’ Bryant McFadden and Aaron Francisco after he caught a 25-yard pass from Rodgers. It was then he was blown to the head and knocked down to the turf. He lay there for several minutes before he was able to walk off on his own.
In the game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Packers won by 44-37. Rodgers threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns to open a 28-point halftime lead.
