Vikings coach Brad Childress denied that there will be absolutely no chance for Favre to join the Vikings in a public address last Thursday.
Childress confirmed that he phoned Favre several weeks ago and the team are still investigaing Favre. Nothing else was confirmed.
Childress did not answer questions about how long the Vikings or Favre can wait before the decision comes out. He just told that he focused more on the current team members than anything else.
