Blazers center Oden said sorry for leaked nude photos

For not wearing his NBA jersey to play for his team, the Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden does not need to say any sorry words, but for wearing nothing? He really owes his fans a big apology.

Oden says the pictures, taken with his cell phone and sent to a former girlfriend, were taken about 1 1/2 years ago. A friend told the 21-year-old Tuesday morning that the pictures were making the rounds on the internet. And Oden has told reporters that he was embarrassed by the photos. So if he knew what would happen today, he might have not done such stupid thing to take a nude picture and send it to anyone else.

Oden has been held out for the remaining season since he fractured his left kneecap on Dec. 5 while playing against the Houston Rockets, finishing his season early with an average of 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds in 21 starts. And it is not the first time the No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft out of Ohio State disappointed people with knee problems- he missed his rookie season for having microfracture surgery on his right knee.
