Missing last Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin remains questionable for this weekend’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Although fans are expecting the receiver to appear soon in his Vikings jersey, Coach Brad Childress just remains silent about whether he will have Harvin play.
Harvin missed all three practices last week and was eventually absent from Sunday’s game because of migraines, which had been bothering him for years. It seemed that this time the problem was a bit more serious than before as it caused Harvin to be unable to study the game plan and trying to focus enough to study caused pains. He had to miss the game, for the first time during his NFL career.
Greg Lewis and Darius Reynaud shared the starting job in replacement to Harvin. Lewis had just two catches for 19 yards, and Reynaud had two kick returns for 54 yards. Thanks to the defense including running backs Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor, the Vikings still managed to win the game by beating the Bengals 30-10.
