Seahawks RB Jones is ready to start against 49ers

After seeing running back Julius Jones complete all week of practice, the Seattle Seahawks Coach Jim Mora confidently declared Friday that Jones was ready to to wear back his Seahawks jersey and start this Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Mora said Jones has recovered from the bruised lung that kept him out of the last 2½ games and had him coughing up blood Nov. 15 at Arizona, but now "He's good to go." Mora had said earlier this week that Jones would remain the starting running back when he was cleared to play, even though Jones backup Justin Forsett had two 100-year games in the three weeks while Jones was absent.

Forsett may not mind as he was injured during Friday’s practice and is questionable for Sunday’s game. He has told trainers that his leg was bothering him Friday only as a precaution and still keeps playing the game as the primary plan.
