Former NFL QB Losman signs with Las Vegas of UFL

The newly established United Football League announced that J.P. Losman, a former Buffalo Bills starting quarterback, has signed with Las Vegas franchise.

The head coach of the franchise is Jim Fassel, who was ormerly the coach of the New York Giants from 1997-2003. He did not ever put on packers jersey before his team.

"I have followed J.P.'s career since his early days with Buffalo, where he impressed me with his raw talent, passing accuracy and on-field competitiveness," Fassel said. "J.P. has all the attributes of a great professional quarterback, and I am truly looking forward to working with him."

The UFL will start its inaugural season in October and has a total of four teams for 2009. The four teams are respectively from Las Vegas, New York, Orlando and San Francisco.
