Kentucky DE Jarmon will probably jone Eagles

Former Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon will take part in Eagles' work out this week. He will do so in the hopes of being selected in next month's NFL supplemental draft.

In May, Jarmon admitted that he tested positive for a banned substance and was disqualified for his senior season by the NCAA. He said that a dietary supplement he took contained the banned substance, and he had told to the NFL what the substance is.

If Eagles will draft Jarmon in next month's NFL supplemental draft, they will lose the right of fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft, according to NFL rules. But getting a excellent DE is urgent for the Eagles, who didn't bolster their defensive line through the draft or free agency this offseason. Jarmon is just a good choice. He worked Wildcats for 3 years and recorded 17.5 sacks, third-most in school history. In past two years he had 23.5 tackles for losses and in last season he had six pass breakups.
