Eagles agreed to a four-year contract with RB McCoy

According to NFL.com Wire Reports, the Philadelphia Eagles confirmed on Monday that they have signed a four-year contract with second-round draft pick running back LeSean McCoy.

McCoy used to play at the University of Pittsburgh and ushed for 2,816 yards and 35 touchdowns while adding 65 receptions for 549 yards in two seasons. He ran for 1,488 yards and 21 touchdowns last year. His unique combination of power and speed was used to pace the Panthers' attack and made him twice selected first-team All-Big East.

As backup for dynamic but injury prone Brian Westbrook, McCoy ws chosen No. 53 overall and the first second-round pick to sign.
